- How long do Peels take?
- Peels will take up to 30 mins to do, so its perfect for the lunch time pick me up!
- How many Peels will I need?
- Most Peels are done in lots of 3 ( 1 per month ), although some clients may want less or need more in severe cases of acne scarring, acne, pigmentation and sun damage. The Salicylic Peel requires you to do a course of 6 for maximum results. Talk to your skin specialist about costs of packages.
- Is there any downtime involved after having my peel?
- Depending on the Peel, the downtime may vary from 1- 5 days. There is no need to take time off work.
- Is it uncomfortable?
- The Peels may cause a slight sensation on the skin, like tingling or heating, this should not last long and subside quite quickly.
- Do I need to prepare for my Peel?
- You will be required to prepare the skin for certain skin types and Peels. This will incur a cost as you will need to purchase homecare to allow your skin to be prepared for the peel.
- What can I expect after my Peel?
- Everybody's skin reacts differently, depending on which peel and the strength , some peeling could occur, which could last up to 5 days. Your skin specialist will advise in detail at consultation.
