How does IPL hair removal treatment work?

In this treatment strong pulses of filtered light are passed on the area being treated. This light heats up the hair melanin and destroys the cells that are responsible for the growth of hair, and thus inhibiting the growth of hair. Eventually the hair falls off from the follicles and will not grow back again. This treatment best treats the hair that is in the growth stage and because hairs can have different growth cycles, multiple sessions are required to permanently treat the area to be completely hair free.

How does the treatment feel?
