Our hands and feet serve us all day, every day. Yet most of us forget to serve them back. Soft hands and feet, and a set of beautiful nails, are a joy to have, and need the know-how to keep them that way.

Paraffin, what is it?

If you have never had a paraffin treatment before you have been missing out! Specially used by the beauty industry, paraffin wax is heated to a warm soothing tempreture and mixed with fruit extracts such as apricot , it is then applied via a bag with hot mittens to the skin .The reason paraffin is such a hit with the industry is its unique moisturising properties and its ability to retain its heat. Other benefits include the softening of the cuticles and it has been found to be an excellent treatment for people with sore, muscles and joints. We use paraffin in our warm wax spa treatments and our paraffin hand and foot treatments.

Cuticle nipping and foot rasping, due to the new skin penetration laws that apply to the beauty industry we do not cut cuticles or use a foot rasp (razer) in our manicures and pedicures. We replace the need to cut the skin by using high quality aha cuticle remover and skin softeners.
We urge you to bring open toed shoes to wear after your pedicure as polish drying time can vary.

Our treatments are designed to help you relax, therefore paraffin , manicures and pedicures are performed in private rooms with relaxing music, lying on a comfortable treatment couch. Lavender infused eye pillows are provided for you to take some time out from your day!
